🙂 It was good, wasn’t it? I don’t think I have talked to anybody who has read it that didn’t like it.

Thanks for stopping by and saying hello! 🙂

I think I actually paid for mine. What can I say? I’m motivated and it was money well spent. I am just happy that he is writing more books in the series!

Nice of you to stop by! 🙂

  1. Absolutely agree, Glinda. Kick is a wonderful book. (I’ve read it three times, now, and also read the sequel!) It has it all, really, and that’s why John L. Monk is now the co-editor of my latest project (an illustrated anTROLLogy for charity, with stories by 24 authors, including John). We met on KBoards; at one point Ann from Arlington (the admin) told us to get a room cuz we were gushing about each other’s books so much that she thought we knew each other. He is a great champion of other indie authors, too. An awesome author of both long and short fiction. And his flash story for the upcoming “Stories on the Go” Indie anthology, which was instigated by Hugh Howey on Kboards, is one of the funniest things I have ever read.

See? I can’t help gushing. It’s kind of disgusting and it really only swells his head… 😉

I love seeing worthy authors get the recognition they deserve. I am now following your blog, Glinda. It is a real find.

So, we all have stalked like John Monk, hm? 🙂

Thank you for your kind words about the blog, Lindy. I usually blog more at my ebook blog, the Ebook Evangelist and this one gets neglected. I have too many interests: food, TV, movies, books, etc. I read mostly indie authors (I boycott expensive books)and I like to introduce people to the great stuff I find. 🙂

      Thanks for dropping in!
