Just in case no one has mentioned, it looks like comment luv needs an upgrade, there’s a notice under the comment box.

Great post, look forward to hearing how it’s all straightened out. The BMV has been running quite a bit better the last few years, so although I’m not happy to hear about your experience I’m even more interested in how they deal with the situation and fix this specific problem.

LOL, Sue! I do agree that this list is a little schizophrenic. Memes are like games of telephone: they change as they get repeated.

I do think that memes have an interesting way of reflecting popular culture, though. And, we’re talking about books! That’s always interesting!

56 of’em. Someone’s edited this list since the last time I saw it running around LJ…I don’t the The Lovely Bones was even out yet…I really don’t think these are the top 100 books (who’s criteria would be being followed with that list? And not one piece of Faulkner, even.) I will confess I have tried upon occasion to read Jane Austin, and never could get through any of her novels. Nor To Kill a Mockingbird. But I read War and Peace!

After all that with Criminal minds, and canceling two and a half men, was the only things worth watching.
I have canceled my cable, just nothing else I want to watch but movies and I am either downloading or renting
IF watch over the air I am not watching CBS ever again.

Jan, I will be very interested in hearing what you think about it. I really like reading stories that are good, fun reads, but then, later, when you think about it, you realized the author slipped some really profound thoughts in there.
